Land Acknowledgement is a reminder that we are all on Native lands.
I recognize that I’m on Anishinaabe territory, and that a land acknowledgement does serve the purpose to remind non-natives of whose land their on. There is controversy of the hollowness of land acknowledgement in white circles. If one is to offer a land acknowledgement and to do right, there’s action that needs to follow. Active participation to end the genocide that is still ongoing to Natives in America.
